Job Description
Job Title: District Certified HVAC Technician
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Director of Operations
Pay Grade: $20 an hour plus benefits
Number of Days: 12 Months
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have and maintain a current Oklahoma Drivers’ License
- Must have and maintain a Oklahoma Certified Electrical License
- Must have a high school degree or GED
The Board of Education and Superintendent may approve alternatives to some of the listed qualifications.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- The primary responsibility of the HVAC Technician is to install, repair, replace, and preventive maintenance of all HVAC equipment in the district. This includes, roof top units, multi zone systems, low-pressure boilers, high efficiency boilers, and Geo Thermal systems. This will also require removal and installation of HVAC systems as needed throughout Guthrie Public Schools.
- Working with outside contractors and vendors for new installation and replacement of HVAC equipment and systems.
- Any other duties assigned by the Director of Operations
